A historically significant Rolex Datejust automatic wristwatch, reference 5030,
dating to 1949, making it one of the earliest examples of the iconic Datejust model. This distinguished timepiece features a 36mm 18ct yellow gold Oyster case with a classic fluted bezel. The aged gold-tone dial displays applied baton hour markers, "ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL DATEJUST" inscription, and a date aperture at 3 o'clock without the later-introduced Cyclops lens. Powered by a self-winding automatic movement, the first of its kind to feature an automatically changing date. Fitted to an 18ct yellow gold Jubilee bracelet, also introduced with the Datejust.

This pioneering model comes with authenticity papers, confirming its provenance.
