CARTIER. A Must de Cartier Ronde wristwatch, Reference 1810 1, circa 1990. Jewelled quartz movement, white dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds at six o'clock, blued steel sword hands and the signature Cartier secret signature at ten o'clock. Polished 32mm round case in 925 sterling silver with 20 micron 18ct gold plating (vermeil), marked to caseback "ARGENT 925" and "PLAQUÉ OR G 20M". Cabochon-set crown, caseback secured by screws, signed and numbered 012950. Fitted on a Cartier-signed tan leather strap (ARL, Made in France) with gilt pin buckle. Introduced in 1976, the Must de Cartier range became the house's most commercially successful line and these vintage references now enjoy strong collector interest. Sold as seen, untested for running, no box or papers.
