A fine Edwardian seven-piece cased sterling silver tea service set by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, 1909. The set comprises six teaspoons and a pair of matching sugar tongs in the classic Hanoverian pattern, housed in a luxury black leatherette presentation case with a cream silk lid lining and a chocolate-brown velvet-fitted base.

Maker: Walker & Hall (W&H).

Origin: Sheffield, UK.

Material: Sterling Silver (.925).

Period: 1909 (Edwardian).

Dimensions: Spoons 10.5cm; Tongs 9.7cm; Box 20.2cm x 14.5cm.

Weight: 80g (Silver weight only); 289g (Gross).

Condition: Excellent vintage condition; hallmarks are crisp and deeply struck; case interior shows minimal signs of age.
