A George VI sterling silver bon-bon dish by Viner's Ltd, hallmarked Sheffield, 1947. Of circular form, the dish features a deep, polished well and a decorative scalloped "fancy" rim. Fully hallmarked to the front rim, this elegant piece represents the refined simplicity of mid-century Sheffield silver design. Unengraved and in good vintage condition.

Maker: Viner's Ltd (Emile Viner).

Origin: Sheffield, UK.

Year: 1947.

Weight: 83g.

Condition: Very Good; hallmarks are crisp, light surface patina consistent with age, no dents or repairs.

Auctioneer's Note: The "fancy" scalloped rim makes this a more decorative alternative to the standard plain dishes of the period.
