George VI sterling silver Coronation Anointing Spoon, hallmarked Roberts & Belk, Sheffield, 1937.

This piece is a detailed miniature replica of the 12th-century original, featuring the characteristic central rib to the bowl and an intricately chased handle.

Accompanied by its original presentation case with a purple "Coronation 1937" silk lining and the original descriptive "Ellams" leaflet. Note: The bowl has become detached from the handle.
